Uganda’s Nicholas Katushabe Bags Professional Doctorate, FameTimes International Excellence Awards

Following a rigorous vetting process, the Doctorate Award Board selected Katushabe for his resilience, tenacity, and commitment to making a positive impact.

Nicholas Katushabe, an impact entrepreneur, author, and consultant, has achieved a significant milestone in his career. The founder of NBK Premier Solutions Ltd, a business and investment consulting firm, was recently awarded a Professional Doctorate (PD) from the European International University (EIU) in Paris, France.

 

The award ceremony, held at the Concord Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, recognized Katushabe for his outstanding contributions to global leadership and management, particularly in social, corporate, and economic fields.

 

His journey toward this honour began earlier in the year when the European International University identified Ugandan change-makers through its global partnerships.

 

Following a rigorous vetting process, the Doctorate Award Board selected Katushabe for his resilience, tenacity, and commitment to making a positive impact.

 

“This special recognition was awarded for my efforts to grow personally and professionally on an international scale, impacting humanity in various ways,” Katushabe explained.

 

Known as “M’ster Quest” in social circles, Katushabe has made a mark through strategic initiatives, publications, and projects that elevate systems shaping the future of humanity.

 

Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “I’m in bliss and elated for this award. Growing up as a child in the ghetto of Buziniro, South Western Uganda, I defied the odds to become an impact-driven entrepreneur, author, and consultant. My journey has been a rollercoaster of twists, turns, and downright absurdities.”

 

 

Katushabe expressed gratitude to those who supported him, stating, “A special shoutout to the incredible men and women who have been part of my success. Family, staff, mentors, friends—you have been a great tribe.”

 

The Professional Doctorate award is one of the highest levels of recognition given by EIU. It honors individuals who apply research and knowledge to practical problems, formulate solutions for complex issues, and design effective professional practices. E

 

IU’s website describes it as a vocation-centric terminal award conferred on high-profile individuals making significant professional and humanitarian impacts.

 

Katushabe is now one of only four Ugandans to receive this prestigious honor, joining entrepreneur Dr. Hamis Kigundu, Dr. Mathius Magoola of Dei Group, and economist Dr. Tabura.

 

In addition to the doctorate, Katushabe was also honored with the FameTimes International Excellence Award at the same event. This recognition celebrates his professionalism and perseverance in building a global presence.

 

“There were nights when my ideas were like microwave popcorn: exciting and full of potential, but they didn’t always pop as I hoped. Yet, I believed in myself and focused on work that matters, regardless of the odds,” Katushabe remarked.
